Frequently Asked Questions

No.  Unlike Fiber based services and cable internet service providers, there is no hardware rental fees or additional equipment to buy, just connect your existing 1 Gigabit capable home wireless router to the provided ethernet connection, and you're good to go.

No.  Cybernet Plus is the only internet service you need.

Cybernet Plus does not bundle voice or video services.  We believe in providing our customers with the ultimate freedom of choice, allowing customers to select the traditional TV service, streaming TV service, Internet voice, or traditional voice services from whomever they choose.

Cybernet Plus has been designed to leverage the buying power of all residents of the property.  This is what allows us to deliver a superior, commercial grade Internet experience with symmetrical 1 Gigabit service and community Wi-Fi for all.  If you would like to have our best in class Internet service provided to your community, please click here to put our team in touch with your HOA association for consideration.

The design of condominium units is based around establishing a faraday cage for each unit, to help isolate wireless signals to the individual unit.  The community Wi-Fi is optimized to provide Internet service in all the common areas and for residents to use their own, in-home Wi-Fi while in the unit.

We believe that Internet services are an essential aspect in our modern connected world.  Having your internet service paid through your existing HOA fees, greatly simplifies your life without having to manage yet another payment.  Resident’s monthly internet services are paid to the HOA, while the HOA pays the monthly service to End 2 End Systems through an automatic payment system.

The Cybernet Plus service is delivered using Internet service provider, commercial equipment that is designed to provide 100% performance 24x7.  Unlike consumer grade hardware, commercial grade equipment is built with higher quality components, better software development, and 24x7 support.  The Cybernet Plus service is delivered to your community with high availability with redundant internet connections, thus ensuring that your Internet experience is always available.

No.  The reality is that Cable and FTTH products that offer residential symmetrical services are using shared access technologies.  These offerings are oversubscribed with the total available bandwidth per service group (250 per service group (Cable) and 64 per service group (FTTH)) for download is 10Gbps and upload bandwidth 1Gbps (Cable) and 2.5Gbps (FTTH). Given the service group size and the available bandwidth allocated to a service group the actual available bandwidth per customer assuming they all use the internet at the same time is 40/4Mbps (download/upload) for Cable and 156/39Mbps (download/upload) for FTTH.  This assumes that all customers internet consumption is uniform such as they are all browsing the internet or streaming a movie over the internet.  The reality is that not all customers will use the internet at the same time or for the same purpose which results in erratic available bandwidth as evidenced by running a speed test repeatedly and getting different results each time.  During off peak hours (Think middle of the day or 2AM – 7AM) each service group will have an average of 40% of their customers using the internet concurrently meaning there is an average available bandwidth for Cable at 100/10Mbps and FTTH 391/98Mbps.  During peak time (5PM – 2AM) each service group will have an average of 75% of their customers using the internet concurrently resulting in an available bandwidth for customers of Cable at 53/5Mbps and FTTH 208/52Mbps.  Further, the available bandwidth to be consumed per customer has eroded over time despite speed offerings increasing.  There are several reasons for the erosion but there are two main reasons: the use of shared access technology and the move toward a greater and greater dependence on the internet for services such as viewing content (Streaming video), social interaction, eCommerce, and working from home.
